Now we're in the editor, we can add a title and start tying.
On the left of our article where our cursor is, there's a "+" button. We click that to add various types of media.
When we add an image, there's a menu tooltip at the top of it which we can use to set the alignment of the image.
To format text, you first select the text you want to format. A tooltip menu then pops up, and you can choose to make the text bold, italic, linkified, a title, a secondary title, or a quote.
Adding editor notes
Using the same tooltip menu, you can add editor notes to various parts of your article.
Select your audience
At the top of the editor, you can select who has access to your article once you publish it. It can be all of Medium, or Medium members. The Medium members is only for people in the "Medium Partner Program."
To publish, you open the "Publish" dropdown menu from the top navigation bar. In the dropdown, you can add tags, connect to share on Twitter/Facebook, then schedule or publish.
When we publish, we're taken to the published version of our article (which looks exactly how it looked in the editor).
