Picniic essentially has the function of a few apps within an app. From the home feed, we can access various types of functionality like the news feed, calendar, to-dos, and more.
Tapping the "..." icon at the top of the feed takes us to the chat assistant, Pia. With this chat assistant, we can access quick actions and see a quick overview of our tasks.
Tapping the name icons at the top of the feed lets us access quick overviews for each family member. These overviews let us quickly see events/tasks for today and tomorrow and gives us quick access to our to-dos.
The "Family news" tile takes us to an activity/chat type feed. This feed shows us all of the various activity that's been happening. We can also post updates directly to this feed.
This gives us a quick view of our tasks and future events, while also letting us add events and reminders.
Here we can see our family tasks and create new task lists and to-dos for ourselves or other family members.
Circles are like groups within Picniic.
Here we can share and manage family photos.
The upgrade tile lets us learn more about the premium features and upgrade if we choose to.
Here we can create shopping lists, add to shopping lists, and notify the family that we're shopping soon/now so they can add items to the list.
From this tile we can find and save recipes
This is a premium feature, so we can't access it, but this section lets us save secure information like phone numbers and the wifi password.
Family member tracking
This is another premium feature that sends us notifications based on our family members' locations
The meal planner section is also a premium feature so we can't use it unless we upgrade
