Updated landing page for driver signup
The landing page for driver sign-up has been updated. In the previous recording it included a carousel above the form, but this week it's a hero image with new text.
The text on the checkbox for agreeing to terms and the text on the submit button for the form have also changed.
Become a dasher
A menu item in the iOS app that says "become a dasher" links to a web view, where you can sign up to become a dasher.
The first step is filling out a simple form that asks for your email, number, and Zip code.
We're now asked for more information, like our name and date of birth. We also pick a password here so we can create our account.
Now we're asked to provide our SSN number and our vehicle and licence information, before agreeing to background check disclaimers.
We now see a "Start orientation" page that does not much other than get us to click on a "Start Orientation" button.
Welcome to DoorDash
A "Welcome to DoorDash" screen with an image and not much else.
In this section there's a video about "A typical dash"
Now there's a multiple choice quiz that asks various questions like "What should you do before leaving the merchant?"
Next steps changes
The final page in the process has changed to include more instructions about what to do next. Previously, we'd just get a page telling us we'd hear from DoorDash soon, but now we're told to download an app, set up a direct deposit, and visit a nearby local office.
We're now done with the online part of the process. Now we're told about the next steps. They involve downloading an app, setting up a direct deposit, and visiting a nearby local office.
